Case detailed information

General information
Project name: Katwijk: CVOC *** Case submitted by: NTP Milieu Contact: De heer W.J.M. Havermans Address: Postbus 6280 7503 GG Enschede Telephone number: +31 (0)53-461 49 05 Email-address: info@ntp-enschede.nl
Location
Country: The Netherlands City/region/county: Wassenaarseweg, Katwijk, provincie Zuid Holland (future) use of location: Agriculture/vegetable garden Built-up location during the active remediation phase?: No
Technique
Explanation technique: Iron screen for the remediation of CVOC in groundwater.
Contamination
Treated contaminant(s): Chlorinated Volatile Organic Compounds (CVOC) Contaminant phase: Groundwater Size contamination: 37.500 m3 Depth contamination: 5 m below surface
Soil
Soil type: Layered soil; clay/peat/sand Saturated/unsaturated zone?: Saturated zone Permeability: <0,01 m/day Flow velocity or gradient groundwater: 3,3 m/km 2,4 m/year
